The Wildcat golfers playing without two starters played excellent golf at the Tiger Invite at Bookcliff Country club. After a disappointing finish at Cobble Creek, the Wildcats finished 2nd behind only the 4A defending state champs Montrose at Bookcliff on Monday. Brayden Kelley had a career round of 74 to lead Fruita Monument. Josh Stouder shot 75 and Kado Hayward shot 77 as the Wildcats shot a team score of 226. Jack Vigil shot a 87 for his best round of the year. The Wildcats playing without usual starters Trigg Hayward and Aden Dangler, performed so well in the field of 16 teams.
